Saturday, September 8, 2018 - The last bottle showed so well that I decided to open another one. This time, I checked the grape composition. The color is consistent with the last bottle. Expressive nose displaying ripe jammy red and black fruit, cherry jam, blackberry, chocolate, pepper, caramel, pepper, a hint of sous bois and earth. Excellent concentration, deeply toned sweet black fruit, dense yet silky, good acidity, earthy mineral, and a long dense and decadent black fruit driven finish. There is a slight hint of Cabernet green. Drinking beautifully but will be fascinating to revisit in another ten years.
