Sunday, August 2, 2020 - A bit underwhelmed by this. Well made of course, but on both nose and palate it’s mostly oak and yellow fruit, no real complexity, and only medium+ length. With some effort I find faint hints of saffron, white pepper. Acidity still quite high. Don’t know what more cellaring would mean for this, but I imagine it might achieve more nuance with 2-4 years more.
