Clear and a very deep purple in colour, this wine is very approachable now. Lots of blueberries both on the nose and in the glass. The spices are a tiny bit "hot" for my liking but I'm sure they will settle down given some time. Nice levels of tannins and acidity. If you have a few of these bottles, I suggest you try at least one in it's infancy for later comparison purposes. I think this wine will age well.
