Saturday, October 21, 2017 - An easy afternoon with close friends (@ PdV): Very mature bouquet with horse stable and barnyard smells. Rust, chocolate, forest floor, coffee and mushrooms as well. On the palate the same tertiary impressions. Old age acidity. Good freshness. Rustic and length. The wine is past its peak, but if you can appreciate tertiary wines, this is still a great and complex pleasure. It will probably stay on this level for some years. No score from me tonight.
