Friday, November 11, 2022 - Intense, imposing nose of black berries intertwined with ripe red cherry accents. Black olives, black pepper, green olives, fresh herbs of rosemary and hints of dried meat. An incredibly complex bouquet with dizzying depth. The palate leans more towards red fruit, is round with impeccable balance and coveys the impression of lightness despite the firm structure. This is ridiculously good and easily one of the best Rhône Syrah’s I’ve ever had. I double-decanted this 3h which seemed about right at this stage, but make no mistake: this will be even better in 5+ years.
