Thursday, December 30, 2010 - Some barnyard, not too much. A faint whiff of some remaining red fruit. With some air, some spiciness shows up. Palate is still high acidity, moderate integrated tannins, bit of a short-moderate finish. Wine is quite full bodied, very dense in texture though not in flavor. Should improve with food and a bit of air. Drinkable now but will probably wait 1 yr for the next bottle to see if it opens up more.
