Monday, September 4, 2017 - Nice dry oaky nose with shy notes of blackberry, chocolate, apple skin, and violets. Penetrating charge of dark berry fruit on the palate, drying tannins at the back, lovely sweet threnody in the finish. Speaks of vaste expanses and dry brush. 50 + 17 + 16 + 8 = 91.
