Thursday, November 21, 2013 - Needed 5 hrs of air-time to unwind and open up in to a profound and beautiful Riesling.
Very yellow wine.
Nose is M-sized and evolved in a fantastic way with typical Riesling aromas: honey, small herbal content, honey and a whiff of petrochem.
On the palate this is more dense than mature Mosel Rieslings and had only a very small mineral component. Other than that, this is perfectly balanced with acids somersaulting down the throat and only a very gentle sweetness.
Could easily enjoy this wine on a daily basis. Married Fois gras, the two fish plates and the milder cheeses.
Only btl, perfect timing. Will live for several more years. Requires extensive air-time.
