Wednesday, January 20, 2016 - pretty identifiable nose on the first night. iron, meat, funk, dark reds. enjoyable texture and finish. I was looking forward to its development overnight. Much of the fruit has dissipated from the nose, and has given way to some heat. palate is more earthy, still enjoyable, but for different reasons. I'm hoping for more complexity over time, because as it drinks today, it's not a very good value.
