Monday, December 18, 2023 - Tannins were distinct on opening but softened over dinner with time in decanter. Medium-bodied with classic bordeaux notes of black currant, plum, and cigarbox, but also with that Bolgheri dried spice or herbal character. I'd say this is in its sweet spot now with a great balance between the fruit and tertiary aromas, even though it will hold for many years.
