Tuesday, July 13, 2021 - Drinking beautifully, extremely smooth, with solid backbone and medium smooth tannins that hold the wine in focus. Mature edges with massive nose of vanilla cherry, blackberries and subtle blueberries. Nose follows through on the palate with peripheral scents of olive tamponade and oak vanillin.
Served with spinach and prosciutto salad mixed with walnuts, figs and P. Reyes blue cheese.
Thought this bottle was a dead soldier.. but gives me hope for the other two. Still has a few years of life left.
