Friday, September 9, 2016 - Had at their tasting room in Lytton Springs. Opened previous day, but still tight nose, but complex and balanced with dark fruit and spice. Palate smoothest of all of the wines tasted before despite having much more density and tannins. Better acidity than other Ridge too. 80% Cab. A bit smoky, medicinal, mint, herbs. Most elegant despite underlying potency. Back end could follow through a little more. A lot more to come. 94+
