Thursday, August 10, 2023 - Dark ruby with garnet edges. Prominent aromas of dark plums, roses, ashes, leather, coffee, vanillin oak. Soft dark cherry and red current fruit on the palate, nice zap of medium to high acids, very smooth medium tannins, 14.5% alcohol. Long finish, lovely balance and drive, more complex and integrated than I remember from previous tastings.
