90 Points

Wednesday, December 28, 2016 - Drank along side a Hill of Grace 2001. This clearly needs more time. Even after 6 hours in the decanter it never really changed or opened up from a rather dull lifeless wine. Whilst not off, and at the risk of offending the generosity of the friend that opened it, the question of whether I am being a dick and 'Brett' band-aid/antispectic came about. Let this one sleep for another 3-5 years and try again then, I am optimistic I would be then forced to rate much higher. Structure is there to develop. Nevertheless there is something quite special about sitting back drinking a 17 year old Grange.
