Sunday, October 27, 2019 - This stood out as the ugly duckling in this blind tasting. Unblinded, this would go great with a grilled ribeye. However, blinded and up against world class old world wines it got trashed by the group. Color was black as pitch, plenty of oak, coconut, vanilla, sweet blueberry jam and too sweet for my palate. Would go great on pancakes the next morning. Blind tastings can be harsh on reality.
