Tuesday, March 13, 2018 - This wine is holding strong! I Agree with the previous note. But here, 4 years later, this 2010 is proving its Ageability. The wine has deposited its coarse tannins into a pile at the bottom and held back at the shoulder of the bottle. Still rather reluctant on the nose upon opening, but showing ever more intrigue with an hour of air and temperature. On the palate, There is a solid core of medium plus alcohol and juicy sweet red and black fruit with some persistent tannic structure. I thought on release that this wine could age well and improve so I kept this one. and it certainly shows today that this is true and going strong. Glad I opened it to experience its progression, but want to find more if possible! 2010 is legit.
