Tuesday, September 16, 2014 - I absolutely loved this. Bright lemon, oyster shells, a bit pithy. Smoky notes emerge with time. Light to medium bodied. High acid, very mineral and quite vinous. Intense, clean and lingering. No fruit on the palate, all about rocks and structure. Great wine. Simple, clean, mineral, pure, refreshing and intense. Not about fruit or complexity. Just a touch of sweetness balancing the structure, barely perceptible. Fantastic with garlic, lemon and cilantro chicken.
