WOW, What a fantastic bottle of Pauillac this was. All the elements that make a nice, ripe Lynch Bages so appealing were present. Not over the hill at all !
It's not as brilliant as the 1990 ( The 1990 Chateau Lynch Bages being one of the best wines I have ever tasted ), but it's close.
Loads of dark fruits and lead pencil in this very rich, fantastic smelling wine.
