Friday, March 4, 2005 - Pre-Birthday Lynch Bages Warm-up (Bouchon (Yountville)): Last had this two years ago (see last note); that tasting followed the 85 Lynch Bages and the 88 never seemd to have opened up. The present experience was much more impressive; fabulous fruits have developed..black cherry, currant, cassis. The wine was decanted, which helped and it simply jumped out of the glass...wonderful!!
