Was open for business from the get go, Got a fair amount of mint (which wasn’t appreciated by everyone), tobacco, well developed character and minimal tannin. Caught this wine in a great place. Holding and not declining imo as I retasted over 2+ hours. Wasn’t the equal of the ‘89 Lalande but not sure how many wines would’ve been tonight. My last bottle but so glad I got to share with friends.
