This 88 is stonking. Perfectly stored and cork saturated half way up, bottom neck fill. This wine is ready to go right from the start. Classic nose leaps from the bottle and glass. I mean, it literally fills the room. Plum, cassis, wet mulch, earth, iron, forest floor, tobacco, and pencil. I was struck by how this "average" year could deliver so profoundly. Palate backs up the promise and it was layer after layer of complexity. I love 85 LB, but some are starting to fade. This 88 is sublime. 95 Pts
