Friday, February 22, 2019 - Brought to dinner up in Napa. WineBid purchase. Opened at restaurant after lots of big Napa cab tastings. This was a wonderful respite from that style of wine. Went well with our Italian affair. Pop and poured tableside. Lots of sediment. Nose of dried earth, sour cherries and red fruits. Wonderful mouth feel with fine tannins and acidity they give it a good back bone, went well with food. In a very good place tonight. Pleased that this 97 was in a good place tonight.
