Thursday, December 28, 2023 - 375 ml bottle was at mid shoulder, cork was seriously degraded with obvious leakage. Color is a light orange tawny. The nose is all tertiary, mature cherry, light florals, dried cranberry, walnuts. Would have liked a bit more. On the palate, a beautiful sweetness. Some red fruit still left, but more powerful notes of walnut liqueur, dried prunes, raspberry syrup. A relatively short finish and a bit thin. This was very pleasant, especially given the fill level and half bottle size. A bit over the hill I think, likely better from a 750 ml.
