Saturday, January 20, 2007 - Almost impeccably balanced--showed a touch too much alcohol in the beginning, but settled down and was beautiful for the rest of the evening: round mouthfeel, but with nice acidity and plenty of heady fruit. Medium body, long finish. Excellent with foie gras, duck and, of course, Stilton. Decanted and consumed over 6-7 hours. Amazingly young for its age. Goodness knows how much longer it could last.
