Saturday, November 19, 2016 - Very pale nearly translucent ruby-red with faint brown hues; heady with raisins, dessicated cherry, light burnished notes, super silky, youthful, strong alcohol, medium sweet and, not heavy or gooey at all. Good, but seemed to lack depth, complexity. This was the only house (of the big 5) not represented at our Vintage Port tasting in the Spring so was glad to have tried it.
Had this the next night at 71 Above with the chocolate 3 ways dessert and it really shined--nearly perfect with the ganache and the brown pudding thing.
Ultra Rare Bordeaux Tasting Class.
