Friday, March 29, 2019 - Consumed over 5 days. The colour is still quite a deep ruby, though there is some tawny starting to creep in. The nose is fruit-driven, showing candied cherry and mint. The wine was a little flabby on day one, but by day two had developed a silky midpalate texture that was quite delicious. Relatively little sediment remained in the bottle. Given the deep colour, I feel it will continue to develop for some time.
