Wednesday, February 3, 2016 - Decanted. Open at first, but slowly shut down a bit. Still fairly aromatic, but at first the nose was intense with sandalwood, cranberry and sour cherry. On the palate, darker than the nose suggests with a mix of cherry and cranberry. Medium bodied, well-balanced acidity and a very clean tannic finish.

Very refined. Definitely old-world poise, but lots of new world flair. Needs time though.
