Sunday, August 25, 2019 - PnP. Very aromatic. Dark cherry, spice, pepper, game and a touch of herbal. I was surprised as Rhys wines usually need time to open, but this was very good from the start and got better with time. Dark cherry, spice, pepper, a gaminess and herbalness on the palate. There are some tannins in the long finish, but not harsh. Very well balanced with nice acidity and freshnees of the fruit. Just starting to hit a really good spot to open and enjoy. I suspect will be really good for many years to come.
