NOSE: rich, red fruits --- mostly cherry; a touch high-toned, with medium-light oak; no funk; fairly expressive.

BODY: blood red color of medium-deep depth; slight bricking throughout; medium to medium-full bodied.

TASTE: medium+ to high acidity; no tannin; rich, red fruits, but there is a touch of mid-palate wateriness on the finish, which suggests to me this doesn't have the stuffing to go another ten years in the cellar; red currants; Gala apple skin; Drink Now and over the next few years. Gut impression score: 90 - 91.
