Sunday, August 27, 2017 - Bright red fruit with leather and light tannin on the front of the palate. Plum, prune, dark roasted black cherry, earth, even some mushroom. Lots of astringency, as you would expect on the back of the palate. Still super fruit-forward, and could use several years. That said, still delicious in every respect. Not that we did, but this could use double decanting. 91 pts.
