Monday, March 30, 2020 - A perfumed aroma, violets, rose petals, aniseed and crushed nuts. Harsh tannins straight from the bottle but softens when out through the aerator. Creamy body full body, dark berries and astringent finish. The hit at the end is overpowering and makes it difficult to identify the flavours before it. I would have thought it would have softened a bit more after 8 years but still very strong. I think it is worth giving it a couple more years if you have any one hand.
