Sunday, November 3, 2019 - I have experience with each Tempier vintage on release back to 1979 and also know 1978, 1975, 1971, and 1970 Tempiers. 2012 has always been by far my least favorite Tempier vintage because of excessive alcohol, and with time, the problem has gotten worse, not better. The wine is hot, overripe, stretched, and shows none of the sensuality that is the key to what makes Migoua such a great wine. What a shame because other vintages can be so great.

11/3/2019 1:45:00 PM - Yikes! I have 7 bottles of '12 Migoua and 5 of the '12 Tourtine. I tried the '12 Migoua nearly three years ago and liked it very much. I'm going to pull a bottle tomorrow and try it again. I'm a huge fan of Tempier with wines going back to 1997, and have visited the Domaine and met with Daniel Ravier. Marc Posner, Naples, Florida
