Saturday, March 25, 2023 - The 2004 Martinelli Zinfandel Giuseppe & Luisa is a complex and full-bodied red wine with an intense ruby color. On the nose, it offers a bouquet of black cherries, blackberries, and hints of vanilla and cinnamon. A case in 2008 opening #7 tonight was perfect. As the wine opens up, aromas of dried fruit and sweet spices emerge, along with a touch of leather and tobacco.

On the palate, this Zinfandel is rich and smooth, with flavors of ripe dark fruit, chocolate, and espresso. The tannins are firm and well-structured, providing a long and satisfying finish. The wine's acidity is well-balanced, adding freshness and depth to the wine's overall profile. 16. abv keeps this beauty bound and together.

Yes a bit over the drinking window but with 4 left, im rolling the dice.
