Saturday, June 26, 2010 - Decanted for two hours. Dark and almost black in colour, with a clear rim. A brooding and ripe nose of raisin, blackberry, lillies, and toasted oak. There's a wonderful balance on the palate. Velvety and soft tannins. Complex and refined. This Medoc is on the verge of jammy, yet it retains its freshness, elegance and balance. Drinking rather nicely at this point. A very "'03 Bordeaux" in evry sense. Drink now - 2025.
