Immense tannins... in fact only slightly less than when I last tasted this about 2 yrs ago. Still, almost mouth puckering, belying its 7 year age. Weighty in the mouth and with sufficient acidity. Leather, earth and toast. Slightly hollow mid palate and a mild uplift at the end. I suspect that this is still funky. I'm sure that this will round out with time. Next bottle in 2 to 3 years. For now 89.
