Sunday, January 7, 2007 - Color is dark garnet. Nose shows cassis, big lead pencil, cedar, and earth. On the palate, chewy cassis, leather, and toasty cedar are met with big tannins. This needs to mellow for a few more years, but has a lot of potential.
