Monday, October 1, 2007 - Not much of a note here... except to say... watch out for this wine. I haven't had it in about a year, but wow, this bottle blew me away. Huge ripeness, concentration, length, mid-palate depth, you name it. It is really sweet while having an underlying minerality (iodine, tar, iron) that makes it awesome now, and oh so promising for the future. This one should come around sooner than most Sociando's, but it has plenty of tannin to integrate for the time being. Forget the 2005, look for more the 2003.
