Sunday, March 23, 2014 - Still fresh, with good dark cherry, cassis fruit. Hint of green pepper. Tannins balanced after an hour and a half. Velvety on tongue. We drank over three and a half hours. The nose kept getting better and better- floral, dark- until the three hour mark. Then some oxidation on the nose- a half hour latter the fruit was gone, the nose was gone, and the wine was flat. But the first three hours were memorable.
