Saturday, September 26, 2015 - An expressive nose of black cherry, licorice, cedar, tobacco with a touch of stewed plums. It is a very good wine and not as overripe as I was expecting from the vintage. The tannin is more drying than I would have liked, but not sure time in the cellar will resolve it. Drink now and enjoy. Decant for 1 hour.
