Nose reticent at first and then opened up with dark cherry and graphite

Tannic and slightly astringent palate. Very dry. Blackberry, red cherry, graphite along with the typical Sociando-Mallet green bell pepper on the palate. This will be an interesting wine to follow over the next few years. It was definitely better on day 2. Should improve and hold for a long time to come.
