Friday, September 9, 2016 - Deep dark center, red rim with signs of age.
Sweet, briar, cassis, pan grille, great depth, a little lime, rubbed rosemary, oiled black olives.
Smooth, black raspberries, plum compote, good acidity, still some tannin, some greenness (good), intense cassis on the finish, great length.
Excellent Bordeaux from a tough year, doesn't show the heat, delivers classic nose and flavor, has another 5 years or more.
