Thursday, January 5, 2017 - Beautiful nose of red fruit, pencil, leather, and green pepper with the green pepper especially emerging with air. Fairly rich, with plums, red berries, pencil, and beautiful darker fruit sourness that persists. Medium gritty, coating tannin, medium acid. Rich, sweet fruit, but not at all affected by the heat or "roasted." Very good. Drink now or hold for quite a while. 91-92.
