Sunday, September 10, 2017 - Decanted about two hours before dinner, finished about five hours later. Black raspberry, earth, cigar box, and green pepper herbaceousness on the nose. Nice sweet black raspberry on the palate evolving to a chocolately finish with drying tannins. Tannins are still a bit prominent and drying. Last glass was the best- needs more time. Worked fabulously with herb pesto roasted chicken.
