Sunday, March 18, 2018 - The nose is rich, with cassis and tobacco featuring, before a similarly rich, dense attack of mainly cassis which is initially quite harsh on the edges, also a tad green, then a fascinating second layer of intense fruit, on the bottom of the palate, which uncurls around the teeth and slides down the throat. Sounds horrible but it's very impressive. Over the course of the evening, the second wave become increasingly prominent and more identifiable as a mixture of blueberry and black cherry. All, in all an imposing wine, like a mixture between a St.Estephe, a Pauillac and a Haut-Médoc.
