Thursday, November 29, 2018 - This has suddenly moved forward in the last 8 months and is starting to shed some of its more abrasive tannin. The nose is still a little tight, but with lots of dark berry, cherry, and plum. It is on the palate the wine has developed, and the tannin no longer inhibits the experience. The subtleties and complexity of the flavours can now be fully appreciated. The finish is on the medium to short side, and prevents a higher rating. This can start to really be enjoyed now with 6+ hours in the decanter. Great value for money.
