Colour was dark red with no sign off a 16 years old wine .
Nose was nice , dark fruity like black berries and blue berries . Some freshness like eucaliptic , but also some little dark roasted cherries , which i don´t want to have in a classical bdx nose .
Taste was nice with some dark berries but similar with the nose some roasted fruit tones and some overripe . Acid is well integrated , more sweet tones during drinking and tannics well integrated , too .
For my opinium it is not a bad wine , but for a very classic bdx chateau like Sociando , its not what i really prefer .
I had this wine some years ago during a Sociando vertical tasting and from remembering i seemd , that these bottle was much better than this one .
Drink this wine now or untill the next 5 till 10 years . But i don´t think , that the wine is getting better . 17 points
