Tuesday, June 25, 2019 - Hard to believe this is almost 16 years old. It's so dark and young and still together, it could be a newly released wine. It's still tannic too. Very much in the old style. Dark berry, forest floor, earth, funk, tannins, and zero apologies. And a great price to boot. The 2003 heat wave did make this a bruiser though, it is more masculine than even usual. I love this chateau and I hope they never stray from their style.
