Tuesday, December 3, 2019 - I still prefer the 2001, but this has improved considerably since the last bottle, gaining in dusty freshness which acts as a counterpoint now for the spicy fruit. The finish is still very slightly astringent but this is a really classy number which will improve further in a couple more years. Powerful and suave.
