Saturday, December 26, 2020 - From a magnum. Opened four hours earlier it started very tight. Put in a decanter for an hour and it was then ready for business. Sweet nose with some earth, cedar, red fruits and green olive. The wine was nicely ripe, fresh, medium bodied. Tannins were mostly resolved, finish was a bit short, but really, a very enjoyable claret. Purchased en primeur @$60, it was an excellent QPR as well

12/26/2020 7:33:00 AM - Sounds like we had the same idea for what to drink last night, and came away with very similar impressions!

12/26/2020 8:37:00 AM - I saw that. The Sociando was quite nice. We seem to have some similar tastes as well. Looked at your tasting notes and the first wine was a Bedrock. I’ve been on their mailing list from the start!
