Friday, November 5, 2021 - Such a beautiful transition over 4 hours. Medium+ ruby colour. Intense aroma enveloped with blackberries, violets, earth and toasted sandalwood hints, with aeration it got extra layers of dense cassis, tobacco, pepper hints. Medium body, it commenced with surprising energy, slightly spicy attack braced with youthfulness and vibrancy, well structured tannins providing substantial grip. With time it got softer and rounder, showing smooth elegance and winding up with lengthy smoke tinged black fruit finish.
